Photography has developed into a passion of mine. I still wear a suit during the week and do the 9-5 thing but any chance I get, I grab my camera and head out to a camp site or on a hike.
I use my camera as a way to clear my head. My favorite times are when I’m alone out in nature and it’s quiet. When I’m looking through the viewfinder, everything else in life just falls away and I am completely focused on the scene in front of me.
There are so many places to go and so little time. The more places i go, the more I realize how much I haven’t seen. I hope to travel to 100 countries in my life, which is a little more than half of the countries in the world.
My wife Jane (my #1 model and assistant) is usually right by my side on most of my photography trips. If she isn’t standing out on a cliff in front of me, she is probably rolling her eyes behind me and asking why I am taking so long.
I owe her a big thank you for the countless times I have made her get up at sunrise or delayed dinner in the interest of photography. She has been very supportive of me along the way.
